Day 22 - of Project 365 - Snickerdoodles

Monday was a scheduled day off of school.

We had planned to go swimming with our friends for their day off, but one of their friends got the flu. :(

Biggest bummer EVER!!!!  On your "FUN" day off - the flu? 

On top of it the roads were really crummy -

so we stayed home.

After a morning of the boys fighting, arguing and not getting along at all,

I took them into the living room -

sat them on the couch and gave them a firm talking to.

I said:

"NOW YOU LISTEN AND YOU LISTEN GOOD...

THIS IS YOUR ONE DAY OFF OF SCHOOL AND YOU ARE GOING TO ENJOY IT WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT!!!!!

SO GET IN THAT BASEMENT AND PLAY WITHOUT ANYMORE FIGHTING OR ELSE I WILL PUT YOU TO WORK UNTIL YOUR FINGERS BLEED!"

 (snicker....not really!)

By the time I was done we were all giggling and the fighting had stopped -

 They didn't come up for quite a while and when they did -

 I had fresh hot cookies straight out of the oven for them to munch on before heading out into the wonderful snow!!!!

Here's to little boys, long winter days and of course...COOKIES!!!!!
