Waiting on the Tooth fairy pays off!
I was reminded as my son waited on the tooth fairy last night
he did so with expectation of receiving something fantastic!
This was after the tooth fairy didn't show up the first night and
he was highly disappointed thinking he had been forgotten.
Boy that reminded me of how life is sometimes...
when God doesn't move just the way I think He should
or in the time frame I think He should.
I end up disappointed sometimes thinking he failed me -
but unlike the tooth fairy who forgot to leave the $$$
I have to remind myself that God doesn't fail me!
My dad used to ask "What are you "Expecting" from God?"
When a woman is pregnant she goes to the hospital "Expecting" to have a baby in her arms when she leaves."
You can Expect GOOD things from God!
His Word tells me -
"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows."
James 1:17
"And we know that in ALL things God works for the good of those who love him,
who have been called according to His purpose."
Romans 8:28
If you are waiting on God for something -Don't give up!
Decide to put your trust in Him.
The road He will take you on is far better than the one you were planning to take.
He IS Faithful!
